First public release is on its way

We will tell you the moment signed packages are published. Your e-mail is used only for that notice.

System requirements

CPU and memory
64-bit CPU, 4 GB RAM (8 GB recommended for AI)
Disk
App 120 MB; local AI models 3 – 9 GB
OCR
Tesseract 5 and language packs (offered during install)
Signatures
A smart card or USB token with a PKCS#11 driver
AI
Built-in runtime; the model is downloaded from the app (1–5 GB); GPU optional
Internet

Optional tools

Three features use open-source tools installed on your system; AI runs on the built-in runtime, Ollama is optional. Yazito finds them by itself and shows install guidance in the relevant panel when they are missing.

FeatureToolWindowsmacOSDebian / Ubuntu
OCRTesseractwinget install UB-Mannheim.TesseractOCRbrew install tesseract tesseract-langsudo apt install tesseract-ocr tesseract-ocr-tur
PDF/A validation reportveraPDF (Java)verapdf.org installer; conversion works without it, only the report is skipped
Local AI (optional; the built-in runtime is enough)Ollamawinget install Ollama.Ollamabrew install ollamacurl -fsSL https://ollama.com/install.sh | sh
Opening Office documentsLibreOfficewinget install TheDocumentFoundation.LibreOfficebrew install --cask libreofficesudo apt install libreoffice

Viewing, page tools, forms, compare, redaction, signing, PDF/A conversion, local AI and presentation mode need nothing extra.
